In October 2014 Orion engineer Kelly Smith said in a NASA video that the belts were dangerous and that “we must solve these challenges before we send people through this region of space.” If NASA still has to solve the problem, the argument goes, it cannot have done so in 1969. [1][2][3]
The strongest version of this theory
