The New York Post’s 14 October 2020 story quoted an email from Vadym Pozharskyi, a Burisma adviser, sent on 17 April 2015: “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent some time together. It’s realty an honor and pleasure.” The Biden campaign said Joe’s official schedules showed no such meeting and that any encounter would have been “cursory.” [1][2]

In his July 2023 testimony Devon Archer described two dinners at Café Milano that the vice president attended. At the second, in April 2015, the guests included “Vadym P. from Burisma,” the Kazakh politician Karim Massimov, a Greek Orthodox priest and, he believed, someone from the World Food Programme. Archer said the talk was about “the world” and “the weather,” and that no business was discussed. [3][4]

So the email described something that happened: Pozharskyi met Joe Biden, at a dinner his son organized. What it does not show is that they discussed Burisma or that Biden did anything for the company. [3]
