The Institute for Security Studies reported 49 farm murders out of 27,621 murders nationally in 2023–24. It found no evidence of an organized campaign against white farmers and named robbery as the main motive. [3]
Genocide requires intent to destroy a group as such. In a February 2025 estate case, a Western Cape High Court judge described white genocide as “imagined.” [4][5]
