Her account

What she said, and where it was tested.

Giuffre said Maxwell recruited her in 2000 while she worked as a locker-room attendant at Mar-a-Lago and that Epstein and Maxwell abused her and lent her to other men. Her account was the basis of the 2015 suit against Maxwell, whose files later named men who denied her claims. She said she never saw Donald Trump take part in abuse. [1][2]

Some of her accusations were never tested in court, and some details of her accounts shifted over the years, including her age when she was recruited. In 2022 she said she “may have made a mistake” in identifying Dershowitz, with no money paid. Andrew settled. Maxwell, whom she accused first, was convicted on other victims’ testimony. [3][4]

What we can’t tell you. Her disputed claims about other men remain unproven, not disproven.

Her death

What the record shows about the murder claims.

Giuffre died on 25 April 2025 at her home in Neergabby, north of Perth. Her family said she died by suicide after years of abuse took their toll. Western Australia police said the death was not suspicious. [1][2]

Many online asked whether she had been silenced, pointing to earlier social-media posts in which she said she was not suicidal. Those posts are real and her family’s grief and anger are documented, but no authority, relative or reporter has produced evidence of foul play. Her memoir, completed before her death, was published as she wished. [2][3]

What we can’t tell you. If new evidence emerged, this would be reassessed.

Nobody’s Girl

What she said last.

The memoir, written with the journalist Amy Wallace, describes three sexual encounters with Andrew, which he denies, and her life after Epstein. It repeats that she never saw Trump take part in abuse. It describes abuse by other powerful men, some of whom she does not name. [1][2]

What we can’t tell you. A memoir is a personal account; parts of it were never tested in court.
