Woody Allen appears thousands of times, including messages into June 2019; Epstein asked Kathy Ruemmler in 2015 to arrange a White House tour for Allen and Soon-Yi Previn, which took place that December while President Obama was away. Photographs show Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger with Epstein; many of Jackson’s “hits” are newsletters or a different man of the same name. Katie Couric and others attended the 2010 dinner for Prince Andrew. [1][2][3]

The longevity researcher Peter Attia appears about 1,700 times and said he was “ashamed” of the friendship while denying going to the island or flying on the plane. Brett Ratner, photographed with Epstein and women, said the woman beside him was his former fiancée. David Copperfield and David Blaine appear in invitations and notes; both have denied wrongdoing. [1][4]

The releases include anonymous calls and emails to the FBI naming famous rappers, actors and a film producer in lurid terms. The released records show no follow-up corroborating any of them, and the people named deny them. We do not repeat those names here, because doing so would turn an unchecked tip into an accusation. Hawking is the clearest example of how this works. In 2015 Epstein, fighting Virginia Giuffre’s claims, emailed Maxwell offering rewards to anyone who could disprove a claim that Hawking took part in an “underage orgy” on the islands. That email is the evidence of the rumour, not of the act; Hawking attended Epstein’s 2006 physics conference on St. Thomas, and nothing in the record shows abuse. [2][3]
