Survivors alleged that Bank of America processed payments that kept Epstein’s operation running, including large wires from Leon Black. The bank agreed to pay $72.5 million to a class covering abuse from June 2008 to July 2019; Judge Jed Rakoff approved it in August 2026. The bank denied facilitating trafficking. Wyden said Black paid Epstein more than $170 million, often in wires of $10 million to $20 million. [1][2]
The settlement

What we can’t tell you. Wyden’s figures come from his committee’s minority staff.
