WIRED reported, from ICE’s published contract justification, that ICE was paying Palantir about $30 million for “near real-time visibility” on people self-deporting, under a new platform called the Immigration Lifecycle Operating System, or ImmigrationOS. A prototype was due by 25 September 2025 and the contract runs at least through September 2027. [1]
Business Insider gave the exact figure, $29.8 million, and noted that it was an add-on to an existing contract, and that DHS first contracted Palantir to build ICE’s case-management system in 2014. [2]
