How much he made

More than $635 million from one line of the disclosure.

Trump’s financial disclosure for 2025, certified in June 2026, lists $635,068,835 in royalties to CIC Digital, his company, for the license behind the $TRUMP coin and related products. It also lists proceeds from World Liberty Financial token sales and payments to crypto wallets. Reuters reported his crypto income exceeded $1.4 billion; different tallies count different things. What buyers got

Dinner, a settled case and a pardon. Each has an innocent explanation and a suspicious one.

In May 2025 the largest holders of $TRUMP were invited to a dinner with him; Reuters found buyers from around the world, many anonymous. Buying the coin did not send all the money to Trump, but his companies earn from it. [1]

Justin Sun, a crypto entrepreneur facing an SEC fraud case, invested $75 million in World Liberty. The SEC paused the case in 2025 and settled it in March 2026 for a $10 million penalty against one of his companies, dropping other claims, without admission of wrongdoing. [2][3][4]

In October 2025 Trump pardoned Changpeng Zhao, Binance’s founder, who served four months for failing to maintain an anti-money-laundering program. Before the pardon, congressional Democrats had questioned Binance’s business links to World Liberty’s USD1 stablecoin. [5][6]
