Founder/executive director of Feeding Our Future. Convicted March 2025; sentenced May 2026 to 500 months with large restitution. Trial exhibit list includes 2021 emails with Omar’s congressional office (titles public; bodies unpublished). Jail/post-conviction interviews allege others above her (Walz / Ellison; Omar-adjacent in commentary) knew — her claim, not a DOJ finding. Not an Omar employee. [1]
This deep guide nests under The Minnesota Fraud Files (and Omar associations where staff/spouse adjacency dominates). Indictment ≠ guilt. Association ≠ knowledge. [2]
Bottom line Documented
Aimee Bock is filed as a person topic — not collapsed into Ilhan Omar’s biography.
What the record can’t settle
This frame does not invent DOJ findings naming Omar as a co-conspirator.
Abdikerm Eidleh: ‘second only to Bock,’ inbox adjacency

FOF employee charged with bribes/sites; fled; returned from Somalia July 2026. Exhibit titles put Omar’s office on threads with/about him. Bodies unread publicly.
The September 2022 Bock indictment charged Abdikerm Abdelahi Eidleh as a Feeding Our Future employee who solicited bribes/kickbacks and created fraudulent sites. [1] [1]
After years abroad, DOJ announced his July 16, 2026 transfer from Somalia to Minnesota to face 31 counts. U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen called him ‘second only to Aimee Bock’ in the scheme. [2] [2]
Exhibit A-56 is Bock → Eidleh, subject ‘Ilhan’s Office’; related threads cc Natasha Rice of Omar’s office on USDA food-program subjects. [3] [3]
That is documented adjacency between the #2 charged employee and Omar’s official office — still not a published email body proving Omar’s knowledge, and still not an Omar indictment. [4]

User-facing shorthand ‘Amy says she knew’ points at Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock — including her jail/post-conviction interviews alleging others above her (Walz / Ellison; Omar-adjacent in some packaging) knew. That is Bock’s claim, not a DOJ finding.
Bock was convicted and sentenced; exhibit emails with Omar’s office exist as titles; Omar denies knowledge. [1][2][3] [1]
In jail and post-conviction interviews (Fox; KSTP extended), Bock alleges others above her — including Gov. Walz and AG Ellison’s office — knew about the fraud. Ellison’s office has called her a liar/deflecting. Label these as **Bock’s claims**, not court or DOJ findings that Omar, Walz, or Ellison were co-conspirators. [4][5] [2]
Some commentary clips package Omar-adjacent readings of those interviews (‘Omar knew’). Keep the same standard: convict interview + commentary packaging ≠ charging document. [6][7] [3]
No DOJ indictment in the sources used here charges Omar as a FOF co-conspirator on the basis of Bock’s jail statements. [4]
Bottom line Documented
Name the claim’s actual referent — and keep ‘Bock said’ separate from ‘DOJ charged.’
What the record can’t settle
Jail/post-conviction interviews are Bock’s claim-layer. Ellison office dispute is on record in coverage; neither substitutes for a charging document.

A federal jury convicted Feeding Our Future’s founder and Safari’s co-owner in March 2025 on wire-fraud and related counts.
A federal jury convicted Aimee Bock and Safari co-owner Salim Said in March 2025 on wire-fraud and related counts after a multi-week trial. [1] [1]
On 22 May 2026 Bock was sentenced to 500 months (about 41 years, 8 months). DOJ described Feeding Our Future’s jump from roughly $3.4 million in 2019 to nearly $200 million in 2021 and more than $240 million scheme-wide; MPR reported roughly $243 million restitution. [2][3] [2]
Omar was not a defendant. The verdict establishes the ringleader and Safari core — not a congressional conviction. [3]

In May 2026 DOJ announced Aimee Bock’s 500-month sentence in a scheme framed at more than $240 million.
The Justice Department’s 22 May 2026 release states Bock’s sentence and scheme framing. [1] [1]
Days later Omar called claims she knew of the fraud ‘flat-out false.’ [2] [2]
After conviction, Bock’s jail/post-conviction interviews (Fox; KSTP) allege others above her knew — Walz / Ellison office in the Fox cut; Omar-adjacent packaging exists in commentary. Still **her claim**, not a DOJ co-conspirator finding. [5][6] [1]
Bottom line Documented
Sentence is real; her knowledge remains uncharged.
What the record can’t settle
DOJ framing of total loss can be contested in other litigation; the sentence event is not.

May 2026 Fraud Committee report stacks MEALS Act, Safari video, Guhaad, eight donors, and Bock emails into an Omar ‘conditions’ narrative. Separate politics from indictments.
The committee’s Feeding Our Future chapter asserts Omar created conditions via the MEALS Act, filmed at Safari, employed/associated Guhaad, took donations from listed defendants, and appears on Bock exhibit emails — then notes she declined to testify and a subpoena failed. [1][2] [1]
Useful as a map of the political case against her. Not a substitute for charging documents. Several building blocks are real (Safari video, Guhaad plea, exhibit titles, some donors). The leap to ‘she created/ran the fraud’ is the contested move. [2]
Rival path: treat the report as oversight advocacy; re-check each bullet against DOJ/FEC/court primaries (this guide’s method). [3]
Bottom line Contested
Oversight narrative ≠ indictment.
What the record can’t settle
GOP-chaired committee; Democrats boycotted/declined some appearances.

Bock’s trial exhibit list includes 2021 emails with Omar’s congressional office, one titled ‘Help with USDA Food Program.’ The contents are not public.
The public U.S. v. Bock exhibit list (RECAP Doc. 451) includes February–March 2021 emails involving Omar’s congressional office: A-53 ‘Re: Help with USDA Food Program’ (cc Natasha Rice of Rep. Omar’s office) and A-56 from Bock to Abdikerm Eidleh subject ‘Ilhan’s Office,’ among related threads. [1][2] [1]
FOX 9 and the MN House committee repeated those titles when seeking Omar’s testimony. The message bodies have not been published; related defendants’ cases kept exhibits sealed from general reading. [2][3] [2]
Routine constituent/nonprofit casework emails exist by the thousands in every House office. Fraud coordination emails would be a different thing. Titles are documented; contents are not. Do not invent the bodies. [3]
Bottom line Partly documented
Open. Do not invent the contents.
What the record can’t settle
Exhibit titles via local TV; sealed/unpublished bodies.

Interactive degrees-of-separation map centered on Ilhan Omar. Only documented adjacencies appear — no invented edges. MSP cash flights and bare Medicaid program names stay off the web when no named associate path exists.
The spider web (section [#assoc-web](#assoc-web)) plots **distance bands**, not guilt. Center: Ilhan Omar. Rings: direct/documented office or campaign touch → one hop through a named associate → political-oversight adjacency. Edge labels carry epistemology (exhibit title vs body; House donor list vs KARE $7,400; Bock’s claim vs DOJ finding). [1]
Included because a primary or hard secondary already sits on this guide: Safari venue/video, Bock exhibit email titles, MEALS Act authorship, $7,400 triad, Guhaad (media campaign-worker + House donor), Eidleh inbox titles, expanded House donor ledger (incl. Mahad Ibrahim), Ali Isse speaking at the June 2021 FOF celebration, Fateh’s speech at that celebration, Ellison meeting audio, Walz oversight debates, Bock’s “others knew” interviews labeled as her claim, and the Ibrahim → Empire/Farah → jury-bribe one-hop path. [1][2][3][4][5] [2]
**Omitted for no real Omar path (as of this edition):** MSP airport cash-courier reporting; Housing Stabilization (HSS); Autism/EIDBI; Individualized Home Supports (IHS); Integrated Community Supports (ICS); Child Care Assistance (CCAP) as a separate Omar-linked scheme; daycare/Shirley climate without a named Omar-associate defendant. Those live on climate entries or the Minnesota Fraud Files drawer — not as spider nodes. [7] [3]
Cross-links open the Minnesota Fraud Files nests where they exist: Feeding Our Future, jury bribe, Ellison queue, Walz cross-link. Association is still not authorship. [8] [4]
Bottom line Mixed
Distance map of documented links — blank space means no edge, not innocence theatre.

Interactive graph is a visualization of this guide’s existing edges; it does not add charging proof.
DOJ — U.S. v. Farah et al. superseding indictment PDF (Sep 2022) Primary: Abdiaziz Farah / Empire Cuisine; Mahad Ibrahim as ThinkTechAct president; Farah on ThinkTechAct board; fund flows. Establishes Empire–Ibrahim network — not an Omar charging document.

Video of a Safari/Banadir community celebration of Feeding Our Future’s MDE lawsuit win shows Sen. Omar Fateh speaking and Omar deputy district director Ali Isse speaking for the congressional office. Ilhan Omar was not there.
In June 2021, after Feeding Our Future’s court fight with the Minnesota Department of Education, a community celebration was filmed (Xogmaal / later restored). State Sen. Omar Fateh appears and describes lobbying the Walz office on FOF’s behalf; he shouts out Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. [1][3] [1]
Omar’s deputy district director Ali Isse then speaks from the congressional office — endorsing meal access work in the room where FOF was being celebrated. Mainstream local/wire coverage noted the staffer appearance and carried Omar’s later statement condemning the alleged fraud once raids hit. [2][1] [2]
Spider reading: **direct office touch** via staffer speech at a FOF political event; Fateh is a separate elected official (also Muse Mohamed’s brother-in-law on the ballot spine — do not merge cases). Advocacy ≠ proof she knew of fraud. Fateh’s own defendant-donor returns sit on network donor entries. [3]
Bottom line Mixed
Staffer at the celebration is a real office link; Omar’s personal attendance is not claimed.
What the record can’t settle
Video sourcing runs through partisan secondaries pointing at the primary upload; treat quotes carefully.
