THE AI FILES / DRAWER 046WEIMAR → STREET → COURTS → THE ARCHIVE

A DRAWER. FULL GUIDES. THEIR RECORD.

The Antifa
Files.

Antifascist movements and the contested U.S. Antifa label — European lineage, street episodes, funding claims, legal designations, and media framing. This is a topic collection in its own drawer (not under Covert Operations or Politicians): nest gateways reserve permanent URLs; full illustrated guides will land here as they ship. Contested claims are labeled. Cross-links Color Revolutions under Covert without duplicating that guide. This page is not a fact-check board.

European roots

Weimar/KPD Antifaschistische Aktion, Comintern antifascism (contested lineage), postwar Autonomen/squatter scenes, and the U.S. import of the label and practice — not Stalin/1941 alone as the single origin.

CONTEXT BEFORE CONTROVERSY

What this drawer covers.

Organizational collection — not a mega fact-check page.

CONTESTED LINEAGE

European roots, not one origin story

Weimar/KPD Antifaschistische Aktion and Comintern antifascism — including the social-democrat-as-enemy line and the Popular Front / June 1941 wartime pivot — belong as contested lineage. Postwar West European Autonomen and squatter militant antifascism is the nearer model U.S. scenes borrowed. Stalin/1941 alone is not the single origin.

OWN DRAWER

Not Covert, not Politicians

This collection is a peer cabinet drawer. Color Revolutions stays under Covert Operations; this hub cross-links it from the playbooks nest without rewriting that guide.

LABEL CLAIMS CAREFULLY

Funding, designations, framing

Funding and logistics claims, terror-designation debates, and media framing left and right will be stated as contested where the record is disputed. Primary sources on the spine when guides ship.

CASE GATEWAYS / NEST INDEX

Case gateways.

HOW TO READ THIS COLLECTION

Follow the evidence.
Keep the distinctions.

Contested ≠ settled.

Funding claims, terror designations, and lineage arguments are labeled as contested where the record is disputed.

Primary sources first.

Court records, contemporaneous documents, and movement literature on the spine when guides ship. Commentary is labeled.

Rival critical paths.

Each full guide will map rival paths against what the record must accept or reject — including European-roots debates.

No duplicate guides.

Color Revolutions remains under Covert Operations. The playbooks nest cross-links it.
